Legacy: Planting Seeds in a Garden

Legacy: Planting Seeds in a Garden

Have you ever seen/heard Hamilton (the musical)? That’s not a requirement to follow us, but it has one line in particular that has stuck with me recently - “Legacy. What is a legacy? It’s planting seeds in a garden you never get to see.”

I can’t help but think of this lady right here. She bought this seven year old little girl a greenhouse, seeds, the whole nine yards, and planted a seed. She passed away in 2015 and never even got to see that shy little girl begin to come out of her shell.

That lady is my Grama, and I’m that little seven-year-old. If you don’t know my whole story, follow along with us and you’ll be sure to learn it, but you have to know my Grama. She planted SkyGardens, and it’s a garden she never got to see, at least not from here.

If you’re new around here, my name is Skyler and our goal here at SkyGardens is to share God’s creation with you one flower at a time.
