Blank Slate

Isn’t it crazy that this is where it all starts, and ends for that matter?Right now I’m planning, and honestly, it fills so full and beautiful, but blank at the same time. Because I can see the full and beautiful in my dreams, but reality is blank (right now).That’s what a garden is, right? A blank slate. This time of year, it’s a clean slate with so much room for good, but also room for error. I’m excited...and slightly terrified because God does crazy, beautiful things. Seeded in the Fall?!?

My days are spent looking for little seedlings nowadays. Every morning I get up and look for any new sign of life. Yes, it’s November and I’m planting - so backwards for this girl who has grown up around cotton. It’s harvest season. 😂Did you know you can get some seeds planted right now that will come up, establish during the winter, and bloom in the spring? He Speaks Through the Flowers

Have you ever thought “I wish I could hear God?” I do. Like an actual voice please. But then I look around and He’s everywhere. This morning He spoke through these roses and said “I’m not done with you yet. It’s just the beginning.” And He brings on more beauty and shows more love than I could ever imagine. I know what you’re thinking - “You got all of that from a couple roses?” At a time when I had expected all flowers to be gone days or even weeks ago, yes, yes I did.
