Deadheading - not glamorous at all, but absolutely necessary. Taking off the old to make way for the new and beautiful. Especially after the flowers were burnt from the recent low temperatures. I think it’s crazy awesome how God uses gardening tasks to show us His love. ❤️ A love that prunes and takes off the bad whether we know it/like it or not.
Here’s your before shot - in the Spring, this field will be full of tough, beautiful flowers. I say tough because they are going to have to be. Now, I need to get back to the laundry. Anyone else procrastinate the laundry till you’re wearing clothes that you didn’t know were in your closet? 🤣 There just seems to be many other (way more important) tasks that need my attention. Raise your hand if so 🙋♀️😉
It’s here - flowers are coming to a bittersweet end. Though they are not completely gone yet, I think they can feel the end is near because the production is not near as high as it has been. For this reason, I have marketed all flowers as “sold out” on our website. I ask that you message me to order so that I will be able to see if we have enough availability to complete your order. We hope to still have buckets and buckets of beautiful flowers at the farmers market to share with you! More on that in the next couple days. ❤️
